Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 15, 2026

Your privacy matters. What Can My Baby Eat? is designed to give you helpful feeding guidance without collecting personal information. This page explains exactly what happens (and doesn't happen) with your data when you use the site.

Data We Collect

None personally identifying. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or your baby's information. There are no user accounts and no sign-up required to use the tool.

The allergen tracker stores your check marks and dates in your browser's local storage only. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to our servers — because we don't have any servers storing user data. Clearing your browser data will clear your tracker.

No Account Required

You can use every feature of this site without creating an account or logging in. We believe a quick reference tool shouldn't require you to hand over your data.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics in the future to understand which pages are most useful and how to improve the site. If enabled, Google Analytics collects anonymized information such as your approximate location (country/region), device type, browser, and which pages you visit. It does not identify you personally.

You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

We may display ads through Google AdSense in the future to help keep this resource free. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Affiliate Links Disclosure

Some links on this site may be affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend products we believe are genuinely helpful for parents starting solids. Affiliate relationships never influence our safety guidance, which is based solely on AAP and CDC guidelines.

Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies and similar storage technologies:

  • Essential storage: Local storage on your device for the allergen tracker.
  • Analytics cookies: If Google Analytics is enabled, anonymized cookies measure site usage.
  • Advertising cookies: If Google AdSense is enabled, cookies may be used to serve ads.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so won't break the core site, though the allergen tracker will reset on each visit.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for parents and caregivers, not children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
